Lupus also sucks! Prednisone steroids are making my liver sick, my face fat, and my nails are dying.
I have a fatty liver and some kind of hepatitis. Now i'm on this fish diet and i'm not allowed pinirito! Anubayaaan?!?!
Puslitan nyo nga ako ng cheese pizza!
Yes, i admit i do cheat with my diet. I eat chips, drink coca cola, pizza, beef, chocolate (cloud9 pang masa), eat manga with lotsa salt. Pero madami din akong tinitiis. Bawal ang pinirito. AnuBaAaAaA?! Pano na yan? Ang sarap pa naman ng piniritong ahot at itlog at hotdog at bacon. Di na nila ako pinapakain nito.. Hay.. After 1month ulit ang check up ko. More than 16 tablets a day. BWISIT! DIET NA TALAGA ITO!
This is my first ipod. It was a gift from my pop for my eighteenth birthday. I was so obsessed about getting one when i was in college. It was my best friend during happy and sad times. Then i got my blue nano chromatic. I should have gotten a pink one. Aww.. I gave my old one to kuya. I asked for it today to see if it still works. Grabe, mukha na siyang basura. So dirty and old.. Aww..
But i miss the color pink. :-( hay..
W-O-W.
Forgot to update yesterday. But I guess now that I'm caught up, the drama of the daily struggle has lessened and the only jucy thing remaining is what story elements I will choose to divulge. (Am I sounding like a writer yet? ^__^) Also, being caught up makes it a cinch to hit my NaNo quota. After breaking myself in at 3,000+ words a day, the regular 1670 goes by quick. My current word count is 17,138 (and it's the end of chapter 4) - I'm actually above quota!
I
absolutely hated everything I wrote yesterday, so the hard part was to NOT
go back and redo it all - because that would kill my word count. I was on the verge of needing to type with my monitor off. Yesterday saw some boring real world type stuff - parts of town,
introducing the classroom setting. Bleh. (probably why I hated it - I'm bad at that stuff. Hence the fantasy writing.)
Better stuff today: some foreshadowing (some of it for the story
this is prequel to, though it may come out at the very end of this book as part of a subplot) including a crazy mysterious man shouting "RUE" amidst his mumbling;
Two houses, two conservatories, and secret stuff going on in both. My
Main Character is quite perplexed.
I knew the answer all this time; I was just blinded by idealism.
Note to self: DEAL WITH IT.
I got hit with the flu last Tuesday. I can pinpoint the moment it happened, so I know it's the flu and not a cold. For 5 days it was pretty brutal, but all things considered it could have been much worse (for example, unlike some folks with the flu, I was not on life support or dead). The worst of it was the unbelievable pain in my lungs and chest. Then for a couple of days I woke up feeling a little bit better. This morning, though, I can barely stand up.
I don't know why I'm feeling so dizzy. I stepped on the scale and found that I'd lost several pounds. I feel nausea with accompanying waves of overwhelming anxiety. I'm shaking like a mad person and feel absolutely horrible throughout my entire body - and a little scared that this might be more than just the flu.
Anyone have these sorts of symptoms with the flu? I'm in an area rampant with both the seasonal and swine flu variations, with verified cases of both, so it could be either of them (or either of them with something else). I've got a doctor's appointment for tomorrow - anything I should ask him about that I can't think of right now? I've checked online for symptoms and they vary WILDLY so I'm wondering if anyone has info to share.
Please keep your fingers crossed for me... I'm working on a freelance assignment and while dealing with this flu I've still been able to indulge in the joys of a home office, but I can't afford to be flattened down sick right now. I hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and can get the vaccine for both flu versions this year! Wash your hands and cough in your sleeves!
xo
I love the details of "her" costume! She was wearing a black-dyed top adorned with colorful sequins and beads. She also has a headgear, which I failed to capture. I was distracted with her vibrant accessories.
Ahhh..busy, busy week. I never though I'd say this but weekends are lately filled up with activities. Sigh.
I miss a good day's sleep.
Whew!
I caught up (13,407 words)! [hoorah! hoorah! - the crowd of one in my apartment goes wild!] And I just barely made it. Okay, I sort of cheated, but not
really. I'd written a couple hundred words in Michigan on the first day, but decided
I didn't like it as the beginning of my story. I put it aside, and started again when I got home and could concentrate better. Today I got to exactly the spot where that bit could go in,
so TaDa! So, "cheating" in that I copied and pasted, and only made a few quick changes to make it fit (now that there were more people in the scene than the way I'd first written it). But definitely NOT cheating because I did write it for this story and in the month of NaNo. I just did it so quick it felt like cheating (it was about 7 minutes to midnight when I realised I was precisely AT the setup for the scene), but I'd always intended to see if the snippet could go back in. I mean, if anything, I've actually been shortchanging myself on my word count all this time, 'cause no one ever said you had to write the thing in order.
In the story today: My MC caught the local shop owner gossiping about her and decided to listen in. And she also heard there's a new boy in town who apparently thinks my MC is pretty. Then he walked in and caught her eavesdropping!
