A Good Day
My best ideas come to me when I'm out, about, alone, and with a cup of coffee in my hand. Most of the time, though, I'm caught unprepared, as I prefer to travel light without anything that can encumber my movements. So...
It was a nice breezy day, with chilly air and spots of light rain, so I decided to grab my jacket and walk over to the Starbucks on the other side of the tracks for brunch. I read today's Business Mirror (a broadsheet which I so love, for some reason), wrote a concise but encompassing comic script for a story I'm working on, and had a nice chat with one of the baristas.
